How to get to Lake Simonton


If you like traveling the Interstate highway system, the quickest way going east or west would be to take the I80 & I90 to Indiana Hwy 19. Then take the off-ramp and head north. Lake Simonton is just a few miles up the road from that Interstate.


If you are coming from Detroit, then all you need to do is take US Hwy 12 to IN 19 and Lake Simonton is a couple of miles south from US Hwy 12. Coming from the south, you have a variety of highways to choose from that will take you to Elkhart and IN 19.


Once you get to Elkhart, you just go to IN 19 and head north. You can get to Lake Simonton from anywhere.

When you get tired of all the water activities that are available on this lake, there is still more to do and see while you are in the area. Elkhart has the famous RV/MH Hall of Fame. It is easy to get to this tourist spot as it sits right next to the I80 & I90 interstate.
